Anonymous

Anonymous: synonymous and homogeneous,
        sometimes autonomous
                 yet always androgynous.

Sometimes they’re a plus when they come to us
      but sometimes there’s a fuss
        when they come not to discuss
                but to cuss and spew textual puss over the talent of those gallant, valiant minds that share with us the divine.

From the shadow they throw,
            cast their blows,
                    think anonymity bestows a glow
                              that grows so slow like yeast in dough
and yet like snow, their icy taunts melt from us and they’re still stuck below.

They think they intrude on our serenity
            with their obscenity but we have
                  amenity in identity and anonymity is just one entity,
             and that entity holds no sanctity.

To truly be hated one must be rated, weighted
        have what is stated debated to see anger inflated or created.
If you’re faceless you’re simply
            graceless and baseless you don’t even rate
                 as a hate enchantress.

To be hated you must
        have a name to be stated,
              your actions debated.
With no face you’ll simply be
        slated as unrelated, outdated,
                always fated to a life  vacated.
